Doug is a dad of three beautiful grown daughters and is married to his best friend, Sondi. They feel very fortunate to serve the Lord here at SLOnaz Church with some of the best people they’ve ever known. Both the staff and congregation are like family to them.

Doug fully surrendered his life to the Lord as a teenager and God has been faithful to him in 26 years of full-time ministry. What an adventure it is…. and what a privilege for them here at SLONAZ Church to live out His calling on them individually and as a church.

Moe has been married to his beautiful wife Tara for 8 years and have 2 amazing children, Paisley and Brixton. When he is not getting climbed on by the kids or cleaning up messes, you can find him taking pictures of the family and the nature surrounding SLO County. Moe has served as a College/Young adult Pastor and Youth Pastor in the Bakersfield area for 8 years and has a huge heart for youth and their families. His vision for ministry is to lead and equip students both junior high and high school, to live out their purpose in Christ, through
biblical teaching and relational trust. 

Lissa enjoyed growing up knowing the Lord all of her life.  She studied Music Education at Abilene Christian University in Texas and began teaching music in 1990.  She spent the following 26 years in the Seattle area raising her three daughters with her husband Duane.   In 2007-2013, she was called to serve at the Northwest Church in the Seattle area as a Children’s Minister and was ordained.  Her vision for ministry is Family Ministry. She was drawn to the Slo Naz Church by the genuine people and constant service that they do for the community and for each other. 

Steve and his wife Darlene have been married for 44 years and have attended SLONaz for 12. After serving as a layman for 10 years in various positions of leadership Steve joined the full-time pastoral staff in 2016. Steve and Darlene have two children, Ben and Melissa, and six grandchildren who refer to them as "Nana and Opa." Steve and Darlene are passionate about mission trips and have traveled on construction and medical trips to Haiti, Latvia, India, Honduras, Romania, and Cuba. They love this church and are excited to see all God has done and will do through the people at SLONaz Church.

Charles and Jen have been married since 1987 and have two grown daughters. Having lived in this county since 1970, he feels blessed to be able to work, serve and live in such a beautiful place.
After a 29-year long career with the California Department of Corrections, he has been in ministry since 2015 and serves as one of SLONAZ’ Associate Pastors serving in a variety of capacities. “My hope is that I can help others have a deeper, closer relationship with Christ regardless of their age, background or where life finds them. And if I can make them laugh while we eat some good food together well then my day is complete!”

AKA, Doug 2.0, was born and raised in SLO and received his first local preacher’s license from this church. He has been actively involved in the children’s ministry of SLONAZ since 1981 and has spent 32 years working in elementary education.  While still primarily working with families and children, Doug steps in wherever there is a need in the church.
His wife Nancy, an accomplished flutist with the San Luis Obispo Symphony, works closely with him in both musical and dramatic areas. They have 3 sons, all married to wonderful Christian women, and 7 amazing grandchildren.

Lori was born and raised on the central coast. She has been married to her wonderful SLO native husband, Craig, since 2005. They have a grown daughter, Sally, who has blessed them beyond end. They have been attending SLONAZ since about 2006 and are involved in many ministries at the church.  When Lori isn’t sitting at the desk in the office, she and Craig, enjoy going to garage /yard sales, thrift stores, and selling items on their online stores.

Mary was born and raised in the Nazarene Church. Her Parents were pastors up and down the coast of California.  Mary has had a calling in her heart for missions her whole life, Julian who speaks fluent Spanish has been the backbone in these trips, speaking and translating, and working hard on the job sites.  When not in the church office Mary loves to write stories, paint, draw and write letters! Her hearts treasures are, Julian, their children (7) and (7) grandchildren.

Tami was born and raised in San Luis, only leaving the Central Coast for a couple of years to receive her business degree from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita. Growing up knowing the Lord, she solidified her faith at Hume Lake Christian Camp in High School. She has been married to her husband, Rex (also a SLO Native) for 25 years. They are blessed to have 4 amazing children—Conner, Kayla, Andrew, and Abigail. When they are not running around to sporting events or other activities for their kids, they enjoy volleyball, hiking, and getting together with family and friends. They began coming to SLO Naz together in 1993 and have enjoyed every moment spent here with their SLO Naz family. Tami feels blessed to be able to use her degree and love for accounting to be able to serve here at the church.
